The brand was founded in 1962 and, as has been said, it has become in the state of Washington and the city of Seattle on the west coast of the United States of America. K2 has been successful thanks to the fact that in the 1960s the company started to work with fiberglass technology, which has signed on skiing in particular with extreme weight loss as well as a considerable increase in liveliness and maneuverability compared to the adventurous wooden or metallic ski. This technology was taken over by most winter sports companies, including those snowboarding. K2 quickly ranked among the absolute top skiers, so it was also a good idea to start producing snowboards and snowboarding boots and accessories. Thanks to technological innovations, K2 quickly put together a team of professional riders, including such aces as Shaun White and Jeremy Wray.
